Also included are equippable items which can be extremely overpowered, one such example was when I got one which gave health back on kill when I killed a enemy. The only downside being that you can't pick up health packs while equipped. This itself is easy to circumvent by just unequiping it when you see a health pack. What's interesting though is that jumping requires you to pick up equipable boots. These spawned only on my first out of two playthroughs. Cons of the game are that the movement speed isn't as fast as the other games in it's genre and that the guns and the general art style don't stand out at all. Buy on a sale.. I realize at first it looks like your average shovelware fps, but it's pretty damn good. I feel bad for getting it on sale because it's fantastic and it looks like no one really knows about it. The gameplay is something I can genuinely call a "Doom clone". You have your faster straferunning, 2.5D engine, an arsenal that resembles Doom's (no SSG tho :( ), a great soundtrack... There's a custom map maker and workshop support but there's hardly any maps on there so I can't really call that a selling point. There's lots of difficulty options, and it runs on just about anything. If you're one of those pansies that complains about hitscanners, there's not any in this. Overall, very worth it for the $3 I got it for.. Gorescript is a nice classic fps. You have to find guns and other items in hidden rooms, you can beat each level your own time,...It plays very smooth. My only problem is I wish there were more levels. 9/10.
